Class Description:
Join Hep Jen and Jeff Kroll for a special Charleston class series in June. We will be focusing on 1920’s style partner Charleston. We will cover ways to expand your face-to-face Charleston vocabulary: turns (plus flashy tricks including elbow catching moves), footwork variations, lead & follow technique, traveling, and upper body movements & styling. Space is limited to 24 people (12 couples). We hope you will join us!
This class is progressive, with each week's material building on the previous week's class.
Prerequisites:
This class is geared toward Intermediate level dancers and up. This means you must be an Intermediate level Lindy Hop and/or Balboa dancer. Or, if you have taken 1920’s Charleston before, you must have taken at least one full class series at a Beginning level. We will assume that you can confidently dance face-to-face Charleston in closed position, as well as simple turns and variations from the basic. We will expect that you approach the class as a place for learning, and that you will be practicing 1920’s Charleston on the social dance floor outside of class.

How To Register:
You may register at the door, with check or cash.
We will make every effort to keep the class as balanced as possible (lead/follow).
Please arrive a few minutes early the first night of class to check in. Maximum class size: 24 people.
